My mother passed away March 23, 2022. She was 91. I miss her terribly, but am glad she is done with Alzheimer's. She was a kind, loving, smart, crafty, flirty, glamorous, compassionate, strong, flaming-liberal and so much fun. An amazing mom, wife, Nana, career teacher, world traveler and cutthroat card player, she was. She took a 2 year journey through Alzheimer's, but in the end, she went out very peacefully, and on her own terms-- she decided to exit while taking a nap. I hope Dad gave you a big welcome home, Mama. We love you, always and forever.
