I love your song and probably gonna sing it on my 51st. birtday party... lol
would love to hear the What's It To Ya song and read the lyrics
you were ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS at the IAWP Final Banquet, Lisa!!! That 'female cop' skit you did in the beginning of your act was probably the funniest jingle I've EVER heard and it was just flat-out endearing and entertaining. PLEASE publish the lyrics......OR record the whole song as an mp3 on your site, because it needs to shared with more of our 'sisters' on the job here in New Jersey. THANK YOU for a really funny.....and fun.....night! ~kate
I saw you perform at the 2009 IAWP Conference in Seattle on Thursday night. You were fantastic!
Any plans to perform in Dallas, Texas or Vancouver,
Canada?
Hi Lisa! I am a(middle age) lesbian woman who lives just south of Baltimore, MD....I was wondering if you have any future plans to perform on the East Coast....I have never gotten to see you perform but would love to!! We also share the same name, although mine is pronounced Cook....
Lisa will you be offering the 5 days of heat song on your website soon. That was great.
I am planning a gift packeage for my friend Marvin's 65th birthday party. He is a longtime music collector and became an avid "Lisa Listener" when I gave him the cd You Make My Pants Pound. He lost the cd and has been whining ever since. So, I am putting together a 3 cd Lisa and Dos Fallopia gift set. I was pumped to see that My Breasts Are Out Of Control is on cd now- although I still have the cassette! I would love to see a Dos Fallopia reunion in Seattle or eastern Washington (Yakima!) Thanks for the wonderful music and laughs
I first heard "My Breasts are Out of Control" in the summer of 1995. We used to listen and laugh, over and over again. We had no idea what this tape was or where it was from. I often looked for it on the internet, using the lesbian kumbaya lyrics as my search. Nothing ever came up, until today! Imagine how excited I am to get this CD sent to me. It is obviously good if I can still remember it 14 years later. Yay!!!!!
Hi Lisa: The last time I saw you sing was with your brother, at your High School Graduation from Ashland.
My brother Neville was in your class; don't know if you went to the 20th yr reunion but Nev went and recieved the most 'Physically Changed" person. He's a big muscle head now so different than the young boy you knew.
A friend from Ashland ( David Zaslow) sent me the link to your show. I'm really happy for you, your career and all the good you are doing. Check out Nev sometime, actually his new clips are on You Tube- I think you'd like seeing him. Take care, Lisa - lovely to see you again. Alison
maia is estatic that you will be performing in Madison. She has always said you are the most amazing of all performers. Enjoy your visit with her.
My heart aches for you with the death of your father...his spirit will continue to live a charmed life as you share him with us...much love Susan
LISA YOU ARE SUPERB!! YOU ARE HILARI-ASSLY FUNNY AND I LOVE YOUR SONG, PLAY IT OFTEN. IT CRACKS ME UP. IT IS TRUE, THOUGH, SAD BUT TRUE...LOVE IT YOU FUNNY LADY YOU, KUDOS, YOU SHOULD GET AN AWARD FOR THAT SONG!!! GOD BLESS YOU AND MAY YOUR FUNNY, HUMEROUS NATURE BRING YOU HAPPINESS AND SUCCESS CONTINUED, MARY VAN DEE, A NY'ER IN SC
You were great last nite at Peggy Platt's 50th borthday party! I forgot how funny and talented you are not to mention cute to boot!!!
I'm going to work on an email campaign to see if we can't get your talent out to a larger audience!!! The Middle Aged Woman was not only brilliant but shed alot of light on my current condition and I'm sure would be of great relief for others suffering the same symptoms, I'm mean who ever told you that farting was a part of menopause, really someone shoud have mentioned this, thank god for your informative song, my new menopause bible!!!
I'm going to work on an email campaign, let's see what can happen!!
Your long time fan and now reconnected fan,
Marita
any plans yet for indy...getting excited
thanks
angel
That song I'm A Middle Aged Woman is hilarious...and so true!
Hey Lisa! Your Double Cup fans are so disappointed they can't make the Deja Poo show this weekend. If you would take it on the road to Olympia, Double Cupper Melanie Stewart has access to the WA Center for Performing Arts. Oh please, come make us laugh.
Lisa, so sorry to read about your Dad's passing. We lost Mom in July. My Dad will be 89 in December, his health is fair and actually right now, I am on hold as to whether I need to drop everything and go down there. I could always feel for people that have lost parents but until you actually loose a parent, it is not the same. I have been told the first year is a year of firsts, we are still in this as are you. Hang in there, I honestly don't think it gets better you just celebrate who they were which you conveyed so nicely. Take Care and my thoughts are with you and David.
I am curious if you played the Guerneville Womens Weekend shows back in 93/94? You gave me a cassette of your music and needless to say I wore it out!
Please come to Calgary, Alberta!
any plans to come to indy... i am hoping and prayin..the last time you were in indy, that was one of the best time my partner and i have had, and after 10+ years we can use fun
love ya
Lisa, I just read about your fathers passing. I am so sorry for your loss. When I read what you wrote about him it made me think about how much I need to try and rebuild that bridge between me and my parents again. Thank you, D
Hi-larious! We laughed so hard we both peed! Way to represent!

Loved ya Lisa!! My girlfriend and I were at the Michigan LGBT Comedy Fest and you had me crying I was laughing so hard. Can't wait for you to come to the area again...I'll be there!
We saw your show the other night at the Triangle Foundation's ComedyFest and you were FABULOUS!
Thanks for seeing fit to come all this way for us Detroiters (okay Ann Arbor in my case).
Stephanie
Hi Lisa, you rocked tonight - I'm in the second row at the Michigan LGBT Comedy Fest.
Love,
Evelyn
I recently got a link in a e-mail for the Youtube "middle-aged woman song" and I never laughed so hard...only because it relates so well! I also got a couple of your CDs and beautiful music all through. Please come to Montreal, Canada! We need you!
My very old tape of you and Lisa Kiley ("A Fine Romance") finally went kaput! Is there any way to replace it, preferably on CD? I loved you guys and I love YOU still!
Oh, Lisa,
I just took second at the Pacific Coast Adult Figure Skating Championships thank to you!!! I shall be sending you a little surprise.
Thanks, again.
Love, Molly
We, middle aged women, thank you for putting our feelings into a song. We are now able to laugh through the hotflashes.
Outstanding and I am a middle aged man.
Go girl..............................
I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how much I enjoy your music. You have the gift of bringing people happiness, and we are all the luckier to have had the opportunity to share in your talents. Please keep it up Lisa!
Love your "Middle Aged Woman"....can't imagine any woman not relating to this song....I sent this to everyone I know and play it often for my husband...Please don't stop this great talent that you have relating to most women... Marie DePinto, February 1, 2009
Lisa,
I'm sorry to hear of your father's condition and
I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy and
prayers to you and yours....
Aloha pumehana, (with love and aloha)
Kalona
Love your website! I hope you are successful in all your future endevours! Lora :-)
I play autoharp with a couple of other gals and I have been looking for a song that I would really, really like to sing. This is it. I think you wrote it for me.
We play and sing at AA meetings, small town festivals, and twice on the radio on an AM station.
Would it be alright if I do your song and of course give you credit for it. We don't play for money, mostly just for fun.
thank you so much for the laughs. I got hooked on Middle Aged Woman and have shared your songs with every woman of any age I know. You even made my aunt pee her pants too. I think if you can laugh at "the change, as my Mother puts it" you can handle every little burp along the way. So, please keep the laughs coming and maybe you will have a show for us here in the great white north? I have just bought every cd I could get my hands on, it's gonna be a long winter so I need the hahahas.
thanks again for the laughs
please keep em coming
a very big hug. Betty Kelly, Simcoe Ontario
Dear Lisa,
Gawd, we miss you two! We moved to The Villages, FL (between Leesburg and Ocala, FL) in 2001. It is the most wonderful, energetic retirement community in the whole US! No one gets old here, maybe the bodies do, but not the spirit! But, our Christmas's just aren't the same without seeing you and Peggy perform your Christmas Specials. We still have the tape of Dos Fallopia and have shared it with our friends. Needless to say, they laughed their butts off! We talk about you and Peggy all the time. Miss seeing the Spudds but most of all, just miss the talent you and Peggy have and the many skits you come up with. Maybe some holiday season we will return to Seattle and catch you two. I can't think of any better Christmas Rich and I could give each other.
May you, Peggy and your families have a very blessed Christmas and a very Happy New Year
Sincerely,
Betty & Rich Cardillo

Looking forward to your next gig in the SF Bay area. Would love to see your Christmas show in Seattle, but it's as cold there as a witches . . . broomstick. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Thanks for all the great songs. I think you have a great voice. As an entertainer, your tops! Thanks again.
I LOVE YOU.! MIDDLE AGED WOMAN IS AMAZING.!
We just heard your music and we love your song Middle Aged Woman. We're much older than middle age, but we want to tell you that your lyrics are hysterical. We just got together for our monthly luncheon. Liz spilled the wine.
We think your a riot. Barb
Lisa..
Thank You !!
Dear Lisa,
Thank you for helping me start my collection of Lisa Koch CDs on Olivia's trip to Provence and Burgundy II. Please give your mom a big kiss from me (I hope she remembers me...). She is really special and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her on the cruise.
Just bought your CD.
Looking forward to hearing what my friend Cindy
White (from the cruise) is raving about.
Lisa-
Last year you so graciously sent me the sheet music for "Middle-aged Woman" and I sang it for about 30 "middle-aged" people at my home. Several women were laughing so hard they had to run to use the bathroom when I was done!! And, of course, their husbands were all laughing too! Everyone wanted to know where I got the song from, so I gave them your website and let them listen to some of your CD........hopefully they ended by buying one later!
You are so talented and such a joy to listen to.......My husband and I would love to see you in concert one of these days......Are you ever going to get to the SF/ Sacramento area?
Regards-
Becky F.-- another milstone birthday girl (50)
Hi Lisa,
You don't know me but according to Google you know an old and dear friend of mine Robin Borthwick. Robin and I played together in Houston for several years and kept in touch long after. One day her emails started bouncing back and I called to find her phone disconnected. I would love to find her and catch up. You don't know me so I won't ask for information, however if you have the ability to get in touch with her I would truly appreciate it if you would 1) let her know that I miss her and would love to catch up, 2) that I moved to Colorado and 3)my daughter is official taller than she is. Thank you for your consideration.
Curt
Saw you, Dana and Julie in VA last week. Packed house, made me hopeful. I remember when artists like Meg Christian and Cris Williamson played in coffeehouses to 20 or 30 of us. BTW, do you ever sing any of their stuff? Your voice is wonderful, plus I'll bet you'd do a whale of a job with "Ode to a Gym Teacher!"
I LOVED the song!"Middle Aged WOman"- are you ever in the New YOrk area? You might want to get booked at a place called Bodles in Chester, NY- I'd bet you'd gte a crowd there. Its called Bodel Opera house- over an hour north of nyc-
good luck- you're great!
Melinda B.- a fellow middle aged woman who plays guitar
I love that song! I mimick it almost every night. I can relate, because I am a middle aged woman. Hilarious!
Susan
Hi Lisa, we are soooooo looking forward to seeing you in Portland, in a couple of weeks with Suede. We have talked and laughed with you so many times on Olivia trips, you even let us share a cab with you and your mother, thanks so much for being such a great comedien, musician and person. We will be cheering you on with some other friends you have talked with on trips.
Best Wishes!
Hey Lisa! OMG, my partner and I saw you, Vickie and Roxanne in FTW ( 5/17)with Open Door Productions. Linda and Chris Mac are great friends of ours. I almost didn't make the show, but I am glad that I did, glad my honey made me go. Your sense of humor had me (us)practically peeing in our pants...WTMI...sorry! You guys inspired me to get back to my own music with a serious and comedic flare. I opened for Ann Reeves moons ago at the theater you played in here. I also was part of a "Night of Diva's" fundraiser for an AIDS agency in town; the head diva was Ruta Lee (major diva pain in the ass, and yeah, she's older than God, but I digress!)
We love the shows that Linda and Mac bring to town! We can't wait for you or your posse to come back to town. I will make damn sure that I volunteer to be ya'll's personal chef for dinner pre-show (uh, yeah, I'm talented...LOL)! Ask your friend Barb Higgbie if she ate well the last time she was in FTW with Cris Williams! Chef Letty treated them like royalty! O.k., now I'm speaking in the 3rd person; I am weirding myself out...lol! Take care and many blessing to you, family, and friends!
Abrazos,
Letty
Lisa,
From one president to another, it was an honor and a privilege to have you visit us "Lesbonese" in St. Louis this past weekend. While it was odd to have the president with us, it was quite thrilling to have you be a part of CHARIS' special 15th anniversary concert on therapy. The comments from our audiences included comments about how much they enjoyed your comedy and music mixed into the show. I must say I am enjoying the memories quite a lot. Thanks for being with us. I hope we do it again sometime.
Lisa,
You were both hilarious and entertaining this evening in St. Louis with Charis. I like the way you mix music and comedy. I bought your latest CD and will continue to enjoy your music. Thanks for visiting St. Louis.
Kim
Lisa Lisa! You are the best! Hey I just saw the blip in April's New Yorker for the Off Broadway show! Congratulation! Wow! I haven't seen you for a long time(I don't get out much)but I remember some things from the old days, you recording in the basement,"You Make My Pants Pound" etc. One day I'll leave the house and come see you perform.
Love,
Tricia
fomerly of Steve, Tricia and Nicholas
My husband sent me "Middle Aged Woman" on email, and I keep it there so I can play it at least once a week, usually once a day. I laugh out loud every time. You really nailed it. Even though I'm actually (hmm, cough cough)officially PAST "middle age" at 64, and those nasty flashes are distant memories, they aren't THAT distant, and the song is perfect. I've sent it to everyone I know who would appreciate it, and I hope you come to Philadelphia sometime in the near future. I'm dying to see you perform. Thanks for the best belly laughs I've had in years.
I have to agree with John C. As a (rusty) guitar player in a grey haired band (up to forty old women ranging from 60-80), I would LOVE to sit for an hour or two and jam. Love your voice, love your guitar, love your talent and love that you share your music with the world. Thanks.
Karen (and the Band played on)
We just got back from tha Olivia trip and I bought your new cd Tall Cool Drink" - we LOVE it. It is all great. Wish I'd known about your play before today, it sounds great. Sad we missed it.
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed 27 Rue de Fleurus last night. I see a lot of theater in New York and am pretty jaded. I was entertained, enlightened and moved by it. I'll do what I can to spread the word. Thanks, Lisa.
Damn, you're BETTER than good !! I like all of your albums (ALL of which there IS no whicher....!) "Back when we had sex" reminded me of something, but I can't remember what it was, now. I'm in the process of taking out a second mortgage, so I can buy MORE of your albums, even though I don't even OWN a pornograph.
I'M HOOKED, NOW !!
JC (not the one of Biblical fame !)
Damn, you're good ! May you rot in hell for being so talented ! I absolutely loathe and despise ya' -- but your tunes are GREAT, your approach is very refreshing, and your enthusiasm is catching !!
Wish I had met you (about 30-40 years ago) when I was still an active piano-picker --- we could'a had a ball !!
KEEP 'EM COMIN'
JC (not the one of Biblical fame !)
Lisa,
Your are fantastic! I love your voice, the music and especially your voice and the words to "Middle Aged Women".

Hey Lisa,
Saw you at the Oregon Cabaret twice and loved your show. You are hillarious and can't wait for your return to Ashland. Just watched "I'm a Middle Aged Woman" which a friend sent. Brought back great memories of your great show. Thanks for the memories.
Lisa, you dont remember me but I worked with Mary Byrne and the National Women's Music Festival and I had the honor of being picked from the audience to be in your skit with Elvira Kurt at the Phoenix Theatre in 99. It was love at first sight. You are by far the funniest, and most talented woman on the circuit. I jump through hoops to see you whenever you perform and you are as sweet as talented. Keep up the good work, you are GREAT!!!!
Lisa, this is your past speaking! Not sure if you remember me but I also had a sister, Tammy at Ashland High. You were a year younger than moi....Someone just sent me your Middle Age Woman song in one of those forwards you get every once in a while. I almost fell off of my chair. What a great surprise. It was sent by some friends that lived with us at my Mom and Dad's house in Ashland while we were growing up. They were student teachers at Walker with your dad. Anyway, what a small world! I just remember both you and David were so talented in music and drama, not the least likely as very personable. Anyway, glad to see you are following your dreams and passion. Your pics look like life has agreed with you.... Take Care and keep it coming! Love your songs!
What a HOOT!!! I laughed iout several times during the song! Way to go, girl!! Keep the great sense of humor!!
wow you are hilarious i never heard anything more funny than "Middle Aged Woman"
Hi Lisa, We cracked up at the "Middle Aged Woman" song. We own the Forney Opry and if you are ever in the Dallas area, please let us know. You are a hoot. Best wishes and continue blessing people with your talent. You can visit us at www.forneyopry.net. Bless you!

Thanks for the laffs- i needed it!

TO FUNNY :D
Meg
LOVED your video on being a middle aged woman! I happen to be teaching hormone balance seminars at local churches - is there any way I could obtain a copy (giving you full credit, of course) to open my talks with? Hot flashes and wrinkles are about as funny as it gets - helps us to keep things in perspective when it really does affect so many! Appreciate your input.
Lisa, a friend sent me the link to your performance and I don't think I've ever heard anything so funny.........FANTASTIC!!! I, too, am a middle-aged woman and can relate to just about everything in your song. Do you ever come to the Northeast? Vermont in particular.......or I'd even travel to Mass, or Connecticut if you were going to be there.........I've sent your link to loads of other people and I know it'll make their day.........you are so talented and a beautiful woman..........all the best to you, Lisa........
Hugz
Julie

I saw your "Middle Aged Woman" on Facebook this morning. I'm still laughing. I'm planning to send it to my daughter who's REALLY a middle aged woman, though I doubt she'll enjoy it as much as I. Good luck in all your future endeavors.
It would be great if you could tour the Uk - you'd go down a storm! :)
Alison
Your middle aged woman song was sent to me via email and is the first I am hearing of you.....

You take me there...when I have to go! Yes...middle age and no where to go! Bec
Someone just sent me a emai with you song "I'm a Middle Age Woman". It was just what I needed to lighten up my evening. You are brilliant.
I could listen to you all day...and laugh....You could sing the phone book and it would sound great....
Do you perform live???? and where???? I am the Queen of a Red Hat Chapter, and they sure should know about you....Keep having fun....
OH MY GOD! I just saw you at the Rialto in Loveland,Colorado. All the comedians were hilarious but you made me laugh the hardest! Sad to say I was not familiar with your work but I am now and a very big fan! Can't wait to see more of your comedy! I bought your CD- "tall drink of water" which you were kind enough to autograph. I cranked it up and listened while I cleaned the house! most fun I ever had cleaning the house.
P.S. thanks for the lap dance!
P.S.S.- Loveland Colorado is famous for sending out valentine cards with their postmark. Check it out for your girlfriend!
Good, good, GOOD!! So glad you entered those new character shots!!

My daughter (Robin) and I were fortunate to have front row seats at the last Ham for 'ze Holidays of 2007! You guys are a riot. The show was absolutely hysterical. Thanks to all of you for sharing your great and glorious gifts with us. Still laughing when I think of it...

Hello Lisa!
I was fortunate to attend the 12/29 Ham show. I had not laugh so hard in years. I had so many tears in my eyes, I probably missed some very important gags and japes. As someone who enjoys irreverent and off- beat comedy, (Firesign Theater, Monty Python, Laurie and Fry, The Goon Show, and the immortal (but dead) Steve Allen) you and Peggy were simply great.
How about coming to Spokane? It's a city that could use a little gaying up! I am sure you and Peggy could turn Spokanistan on it's ear and spank it good!!
Cheers and laughs,
John H.
